SIA and Other Associations Submit Comments to the US Senate on the Process for the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)*, The Bond Market Association (TBMA)*, The Financial Services Forum, The Financial Services Roundtable, the American Bankers Association, theBankers Association for Finance and Trade, andInvestment Company Institute,provide comments to U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) on proposed changes to Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS). The Associations urge Senator Shelby and Congress to not place new and damaging restrictions on foreign investment, and avoid imposing pre-approval requirements or non-fact-based restrictions on foreign investments in the U.S.
