SIA and FIA Submit Comments to the SEC on Margin Related to Security Futures Products

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* and the Futures Industry Association (FIA)provide comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) onproposed amendments to Rule 15c3-3a (Customer Reserve Formula), which wouldaffect reserve requirements for margin related to security futures products, Release No. 34-46492; File No. S7-34-02. The groups share their views and recommendations relating to the proposal.
