The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* and the Futures Industry Association (FIA)provide comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) onthe Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE)Customer Portfolio and Cross Margining Requirements, File No. SR-CBOE-2002-03, Federal Register 77275 – December 27, 2004; and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Customer Portfolio and Cross Margining Requirements, File Number SR-NYSE-2002-19, 69 Federal Register 77287 – December 27, 2004. The letter requests a 30-day extension to provide comment to the proposed rules.
