SIFMA Meetings & Events: Terms & Conditions

By registering for a SIFMA event, you agree to the terms and any additional event-specific terms disclosed during registration or published on the applicable event website.

1. Registration and payment
Registration is subject to availability, eligibility and confirmation by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (“SIFMA”). If paying by invoice, payment must be received within 30 days of receipt of the invoice or before the event begins, whichever comes first. All walk-in registrations require full payment at the time of registration. SIFMA reserves the right to deny admission or access to the event if payment has not been received in full.

2. Cancellations, refunds and substitutions
Cancellation deadlines, processing fees and refund eligibility are specified on the applicable event website or registration page. Cancellation and substitution requests must be submitted in writing to SIFMA Conferences. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the applicable deadline or for no-shows.

Substitutions are welcome at no additional charge. Each substitution must cover the full duration of the event. Registrations, badges and virtual access credentials may not be shared among multiple individuals. Each person attending must have a separate registration.

3. Event changes or cancellation
SIFMA may make reasonable changes to the program, speakers or session schedule. If SIFMA cancels the event, paid registration fees will be refunded. If the event is postponed or materially changes location or format, SIFMA will notify registrants of their options, including any applicable refund deadline. SIFMA will not reimburse travel, accommodation or other related expenses, except where required by law.

4. Conduct and participation
Participants must comply with SIFMA’s Code of Conduct, applicable venue or platform rules, and communicated safety requirements. SIFMA may refuse admission or remove participants for misconduct or a material violation of these requirements. Removal for such a violation may result in forfeiture of the registration fee, subject to applicable law.

5. Privacy and communications
Personal information will be handled in accordance with SIFMA’s Privacy Policy. SIFMA may send communications necessary to administer your registration and participation. Optional marketing and personal-data-sharing preferences will be collected separately where applicable.

6. Photography and recording
SIFMA or its authorized representatives may photograph or record event activities. Subject to applicable law and any required consent, these materials may include your image, voice or contributions and may be used for event reporting and promotion without compensation. Please contact SIFMA Conferences before participating with any questions or requests concerning photography or recording.

7. Event materials
Event materials are provided for your personal professional use. Recording, reproducing, distributing or sharing sessions or materials requires SIFMA’s prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

8. Informational purposes
Event content is provided for informational and educational purposes and does not constitute legal, investment, tax or other professional advice. Speaker views are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of SIFMA. Continuing education credits, where offered, are subject to the requirements published for the event.

9. Accessibility and dietary requests
Please submit accessibility and/or dietary requests to SIFMA Conferences at least one week before the event begins. Dietary accommodations are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, and cross-contact with allergens may occur.

10. Applicable terms and questions
If these terms conflict with event-specific terms disclosed during registration or published on the applicable event website, the event-specific terms will govern that issue. Questions and requests should be directed to SIFMA Conferences.
