Wendy Walker is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Sovos Compliance, where she leads U.S. information reporting and withholding strategy and policy advocacy. She brings 20 years of experience—10 years leading tax operations and compliance teams in financial services, followed by 2 years in advisory before joining Sovos, where she has spent the last 8 years.

A former Chair of the IRS Advisory Council’s Information Reporting Subgroup, Wendy is a recognized thought leader who frequently speaks at national conferences on IRS modernization, digital asset reporting, and compliance transformation. She holds an MBA and was named one of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting.
