Tyler Parry

Director, CUSO Financial Crimes Governance, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)

Tyler possesses over 13 years of experience in financial crimes across the public and private sectors within the United States. He joined RBC from Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) where he was a BSA/AML, OFAC and Fraud Functional Examiner-in-Charge for Large Bank Supervision. Of note, Tyler had primary supervisory responsibility for USAA Federal Savings Bank’s financial crimes program, including oversight of their compliance with the 2022 BSA Consent Order and fraud-related requirements of their 2024 Consent Order. Prior to the OCC, Tyler worked for Deloitte in their AML and Economic Sanctions practice, and he was an examiner at FINRA where he oversaw routine and special examinations of member firm’s (e.g. broker/dealers) BSA/AML and OFAC compliance programs and risk management practices. Tyler earned his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law and has a B.A. in Business Administration from Malone University.
