Tony Alam

Director, Kyndryl

Tony Alam, currently employed as a Director of Offer Management at Kyndryl, is a highly seasoned managed services professional with experience in government, telco’s, international development, satellite technology, and Silicon Valley-type tech start-ups. Upon receiving his BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, Tony began his 25+ year professional career while pursuing his MS in System Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Achievements include assisting Bell Atlantic (later Verizon) launch their Internet business, leading the multimedia engineering team at WorldSpace satellite radio (the parent company of XM Radio), heading the product team at DS3 Datavaulting (a successful backup/DR-as-a-Service start-up), being a key contributor to the first launch of CenturyLink cloud computing and building out the cloud managed services group at NTT. Currently at Kyndryl, Tony is one of the leading voices of change as he helps to define, advocate for and implement the new operating model that is ModernOps.
