Todd Purdy

Principal, Edward Jones

Todd Purdy is the Edward Jones principal responsible for Operations in the United States & Canada, including client onboarding, asset movement, trading, custody and client reporting.

Todd joined Edward Jones in 2008 as a group leader in the Operations division with responsibility for Payment Operations. He was named an Edward Jones principal in 2013 and the following year transitioned to lead Advisory Operations. In 2021, Todd joined the business segment leadership team responsible for the firm’s business in the U.S. He assumed leadership of the Operations division in 2024.

Before joining Edward Jones, Todd had a 15-year career with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and held multiple leadership positions, including vice president of Treasury investment services for the U.S. Treasury.

Todd earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.

Todd represents the firm on SIFMA’s Operations and Technology Committee and serves on the executive board of directors of the World Pediatric Project. He and his wife, Janet, have two sons, Tyler and Grant.
