Todd Hand is the Head of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Alternative Investments and Private Investments (co-investments) – Legal. In these roles Todd provides and manages his team’s provision of advice on legal and regulatory matters relating to the structure, issuance, regulation, distribution, and marketing of a wide range of alternative investment products and private investments.
Todd joined Morgan Stanley in the Fall of 2006 after working at two AmLaw 100 law firms as an associate with concentrations in corporate law and alternative investments. During Todd’s entire tenure at the firm, he has focused on the coverage of alternative investments and related complex products for Wealth Management. Todd is based in Wealth Management’s headquarters in Purchase, NY. Todd has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Economics and Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
