Tim Grob is Vice President and Global Head of Regulatory Relations for RBC. Tim and his team work closely with leaders at RBC to navigate emerging and complex regulatory matters and implementing best practices in regulatory relationship management in all jurisdictions where RBC operates.
Tim joined RBC in 2016 from the Federal Reserve, where he played a central role in shaping the supervisory strategy for large, complex financial institutions, leading regulatory initiatives related to derivatives and payments reform, working extensively with regulators in North America, UK, Europe and Asia to promote global policy alignment.
Prior to his time at the Federal Reserve, Tim held various senior alternative investment risk management positions at Citigroup Global Markets, Bear Stearns, and Mezzacappa Management, and before that Tim was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He completed his undergraduate degree in finance at Hawai’i Pacific University, his MBA at St. John’s University, and he completed a graduate program in Strategic Management at Harvard University.
