Tamara Weber
Senior Principal Investigator, Crypto Asset Investigations Team, FINRA
Tamara Weber is a Senior Principal Investigator on FINRA’s Crypto Asset Investigations (CAI) Team, where she leads complex investigations and risk-based examinations focused on crypto asset fraud and securities law compliance. Before joining FINRA, Tamara served over 20 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, Treasury Department, and the FDIC, specializing in financial crimes, including bank fraud and anti-money laundering investigations. She is also a licensed attorney who served as a federal and state prosecutor, including as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California and as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois.
