
Takako Okada
Takako Okada is a leader in Charles Schwab’s Compliance organization, responsible for the strategic direction of the trading surveillance, monitoring and analytics program, while challenging existing processes and approaches to enhance effectiveness and create quality improvements.
Takako joined Charles Schwab in 2022. Prior to her current role, she led the Compliance Analytics team, creating efficiencies and enhancing effectiveness by leveraging data-driven and robotic process automation solutions, with emphasis on process modernization and governance principles.
Takako began her career at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA, formerly NASD Regulation) in 1997 in its Market Regulation division, conducting and managing various regulatory reviews and surveillance programs. Subsequent to her work at FINRA and prior to joining Charles Schwab, she held various compliance and risk leadership roles at broker-dealer and banking institutions in Washington, D.C. area and Atlanta, GA.
Takako graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with BA in Business/Finance and Johns Hopkins University with MBA in Finance.
