Sunita Koshy is a Principal at Edward Jones leading the Risk, Ethics and Programs areas within the Compliance division. Sunita is a member of the Chief Compliance Officer’s Leadership Team, serves on the Edward Jones Leadership Coalition, a group of leaders supporting the Managing Partner’s Executive Leadership Team by activating firm priorities and decisions, and is a member of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

Sunita joined Edward Jones after more than a decade at Citi where she held leadership roles covering both business-line advisory compliance and enterprise compliance programs. Her roles at Citi included Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer for Global Conduct Risk Management and Managing Director and Global Head of Compliance for Corporate and Investment Banking, Research and Control Room. Prior to these global roles, Sunita held various regional positions within compliance and legal at Citi.

Sunita began her career in private practice as an attorney with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, NY, where she specialized in private equity fund formation and real estate finance.
A native New Yorker, Sunita earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Barnard College – Columbia University and Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where she served on the editorial board of the Cardozo Law Review. She lives in New York City and serves on the board of directors of Sanctuary For Families, New York’s leading service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence.
