Steve Hood is Americas Head of Clearing at Marex Group. Mr. Hood has over 26 years of experience in all aspects of the risk management of a futures commission merchant / broker-dealer, as well as trading and risk analysis of various derivative products. Prior to joining Marex Capital, he was Global Chief Operating Officer and Global Chief Risk Officer at ED&F Man Capital Markets from November 2021 until the company was acquired by Marex in late 2022. Previously he was head of Market Risk and Counterparty Risk Analysis at MF Global. Mr. Hood serves on the CME Clearing House Risk Committee and the DTCC Risk Management Advisory Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
