Stephanie Anelli

Stephanie Anelli is the Head of Emerging Technology Legal, Americas at Barclays, where she serves as the lead legal advisor on artificial intelligence and emerging technology across the region. In this role, she advises on AI laws, regulations, and governance frameworks, supporting the responsible adoption and deployment of AI within a highly regulated financial services environment. Ms. Anelli partners with senior executives across legal, risk, technology, and business functions on the firm’s approach to AI governance and regulatory compliance, including the implementation of frameworks designed to address the legal issues and risk considerations associated with emerging technologies.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Anelli held senior legal roles at Venable LLP and Deloitte. She holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.S. in Finance and Management Information Systems from New York University.
