Ryan Jachym

Ryan is Global Head of Markets Policy in the Office of Government and Regulatory Affairs and represents the firm on a broad range of issues with Congress, federal financial regulatory agencies and the US Executive branch. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2018 as vice president and was named managing director in 2021.

Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was an executive director for Global Policy at JPMorgan Chase, where she worked in both London and Washington, DC on cross-border regulatory and policy issues as part of International Government Relations. She also served as a senior advisor at the derivatives advisory firm Chatham Financial in London, where she launched a regulatory advisory group to help corporations and private funds comply with global derivatives regulations. Ryan also worked on Capitol Hill, most recently as professional staff at the House Agriculture Committee, conducting oversight of implementation of the derivatives title of the Dodd-Frank Act.

Ryan earned a BA from Ohio University.
