Richard “Dickie” Steele is a Partner in the Organization Practice based in New York City. He co-leads the firm’s Organizing for the Future initiative, our Reinventing Change initiative, and is co-author of “Reimagining the post-COVID organization” and Healthy organizations keep winning, but the rules are changing fast,” McKinsey Quarterly, August 2024. Richard has broad-based FIG experience across Banking, Technology, insurance and Infrastructure players across multiple geographies. He has worked in over 20 countries on organizational topics including mergers, culture change and end-to-end organizational design and operating model. He has written for Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review and contributed to Forbes “On Human Business” and has served on several non-profit boards in the UK and US, including The Atlantic Council, a foreign policy think-tank, and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at SIPA, Columbia University. He has an MBA with distinction INSEAD and BSc from University College, Durham.
