Nilima Muttana is Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at MetLife Investment Management. She leads a team of U.S. based as well as international lawyers who provide legal support to MetLife Investment Management’s institutional client business. She primarily advises on private fund formation, negotiation of separate accounts for institutional clients and law and regulation applicable to investment managers. Nilima is admitted to the New York bar and licensed as in-house counsel in New Jersey. Nilima holds a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. Nilima is based in Whippany, NJ and joined MetLife in 2021.
