Nick Machen is the global head of Business Tax Advisory at Citigroup. He works on a variety of internal tax planning efforts and supports Citi’s corporate treasury and client-facing business lines by providing advice on the taxation of corporate finance, derivatives and other financial products. Prior to joining Citigroup, Nick was a tax attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where his practice focused on all manner of financial products, mergers and acquisitions, and tax controversy.
