
Michelle Daly
Michelle Daly serves as Senior Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. With more than 25 years of experience in a range of senior accounting, corporate treasury, and financial reporting leadership roles, Michelle leads a global team of accounting professionals and is responsible for all areas of the company’s accounting, analysis, disclosure, and financial reporting. In addition, Michelle oversees Nasdaq’s financial advisory office, corporate ESG strategy and reporting, and global accounting operations teams.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, Michelle was Managing Director and Deputy Controller at BlackRock, which followed a decade-long tenure at Goldman Sachs, where she served as a Managing Director and head of SEC reporting, and also spent time within the firm’s corporate treasury department. Michelle began her career in the audit practice at Ernst & Young LLP and holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Michelle is the Executive Sponsor for the New2Nasdaq employee network, serves as the New York Office site leader and is a member of the Executive Diversity Steering Committee at Nasdaq. Outside of Nasdaq, she is the chairperson of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Roundtable Committee, a member of the Villanova University Accounting Advisory Council, Treasurer of the Bay Head School Foundation and co-chair of the Annual Bay Head School Gift Auction. Michelle resides in the Jersey Shore area with her husband and two sons.
