Michele Siano

Michele Siano is Executive Vice President and Global Chief Compliance Officer at MetLife, Inc. where she leads a team responsible for compliance risk policies and programs, including financial crime. Michele joined MetLife in 2020 from Citi, where she was a Managing Director and held numerous senior leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer for Compliance Risk Management, and Global Chief Compliance Officer for Investment Banking, Research, Enterprise Compliance Programs, Ethics and Conduct Risk, among others. Previously, Michele worked at UBS Financial Services, D.E. Shaw & Co., and the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell. She serves on NYU Law School’s board of advisors for Corporate Compliance and Enforcement and the board of MetLife’s NexGen Ventures. Michele holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and master’s and bachelor’s degrees from NYU.
