Michael Nierva

Michael Nierva is a Director at BNY Pershing, where he manages credit risk for clients of Wealth Services within Pershing. Previously, he served as a Managing Director in the Prime Brokerage division of JP Morgan Chase, where he was employed for twenty-six years. He also held the position of Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns Securities Corp as well as various roles at EF Hutton, Shearson Lehman, and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Nierva previously served as the President of the Credit and Margin section of the SIFMA Operations & Technology Committee and is also the Chairman and past President of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
A Cum Laude graduate of St. John’s University, Mr. Nierva is a FINRA registered principal (Series 7, 24).
