Maya Tydykov

Maya Tydykov leads the Data Science squad within Fidelity’s Financial Crimes Analytics & Emerging Risk team, which designs, builds, and maintains Fidelity’s Anti-Money Laundering and sanctions models. Working closely with the rest of the team, the Data Science squad performs research, development, and maintenance of these models, bringing leading AI-powered technologies and tools to improve model performance in support of Fidelity’s Financial Crimes Compliance programs.

Before joining Fidelity, Maya worked in Data Science, AI and Engineering roles at financial, healthcare and software companies on problems ranging from information extraction from healthcare notes to summarization and intent extraction from conversational data. Maya received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Brandeis University and a Master’s degree in Language Technologies from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science.
