Matthew Otte is head of Governance for AI & Digital Innovation at RBC Capital Markets where he leads comprehensive governance frameworks for the firm’s AI and Digital initiatives. Working in partnership with enterprise stakeholders, Matt ensures full adherence to responsible AI principles across the organization, helping to establish and maintain ethical standards for the firm’s growing AI and Digital capabilities.
Previously, Matt was Director and Managing Counsel in the Law Group at RBC Capital Markets. In this role, Matt is the lead attorney for several business lines, including the Digital and AI Innovation business, RBC Elements, Global Equities and the Alternate Finance business.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Business Administration degree from Providence College, and his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
