Luigi Ricciardi

Global Financial Crimes Executive, Bank of America

Luigi J. Ricciardi is a Director in Global Financial Crimes in the Global Risk organization at Bank of America. He is responsible for overseeing the Anti-Money Laundering (AML), economic sanctions, and operational risk programs for the Global Markets Equities division of Bank of America. He serves as the FINRA designated AML Compliance Officer for BofA Securities Inc., and BofA Securities Prime, Inc.

Mr. Ricciardi joined the company in May 2019. Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Ricciardi was a Vice-President in Financial Crime Compliance at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, (2004 – 2019) where he managed a team of investigators globally who performed multiple insider trading, market manipulation and employee trading surveillances. His role also included evaluating SAR reporting requirements under global AML rules and supported the development of the firm’s AML program. From 2004 – 2008 he served as the firm’s Compliance Registered Options Principal responsible for the firm’s overall regulatory options obligations.

Mr. Ricciardi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Pace University. He holds the Series 4, Series 7, Series 9 & 10 and Series 63 FINRA licenses.
