Kyle Wootten

General Counsel – Operations, Finance and Technology, Raymond James Financial

Kyle Wootten is the General Counsel to Operations, Finance and Technology for Raymond James & Associates, Inc. In his role, Mr. Wootten advises all areas of broker-dealer operations and finance and provides legal support to IT in the development and deployment of new wealth management products and services, including governance of products leveraging artificial intelligence. Prior to this, Mr. Wootten was the Head of Corporate Compliance and Internal Controls for Raymond James Financial, leading the team responsible for central compliance functions supporting the global organization. He has also held the position of Chief Compliance Officer for Finance and Operations and Head of Global Functions Compliance at Raymond James. Before joining Raymond James in 2016, Kyle was the Deputy Director of Regulatory for Thomson Reuters BETA Systems. Prior to that, Kyle spent 12 years at Wells Fargo Advisors, holding several legal and compliance roles, including Capital Markets and Trading Counsel and Compliance Manager for Operations, Finance and Technology.

Mr. Wootten has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Saint Louis University, and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law.
