Kulbir S. Singh

Kulbir is a data privacy and information strategy advisor at Promontory and has worked with major US and global clients on maturing their data asset strategy while conducting a systematic examination of privacy & ethical issues related to new data use and product design.  He has over 15 years of experience in assessing, designing and operationalizing information management, privacy and data protection programs within top global financial institutions. His privacy expertise spans most current and emerging information technologies like Advanced Analytics, AI and Cloud with special emphasis on driving business value across information lifecycle while improving consumer trust, information risk & regulatory compliance postures for financial institutions. Kulbir is also certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).

Prior to joining Promontory, Kulbir was an Associate Partner, Cognitive Business for IBM Services . In this role he built and led global teams to operationalize large scale data programs including strategy, target operating models, program design and implementation, governance, policy, regulatory implementation and remediation, with a responsible data use lens.

Kulbir received his business degree from Indian Institute of Management, India and his undergraduate engineering degree from Delhi University. India
