Krissy McCooey is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Head of Technology Risk for Edward Jones. She is an accomplished cybersecurity and risk professional with over 20 years’ experience across the financial services, government defense and private sectors. Krissy’s areas of expertise include threat analysis, incident response, offensive security, and governance, risk and compliance. She is an active member of numerous industry groups focused on threat intelligence sharing, and policy and regulation.
As a native to Rhode Island, Krissy earned an undergraduate degree in computer science with a minor in digital forensics, and a master’s degree in computer science with a focus in machine learning from the University of Rhode Island.
