Kim Hitter

Kim leads the Core Compliance Group, responsible for implementing and maintaining an integrated regulatory compliance program, including regulatory change management, policies, training, issue escalation and risk assessment. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2023 as a managing director.

Prior to joining the firm, Kim worked at Citigroup as a managing director on the Independent Compliance Risk Management team. She worked at Citi for more than 16 years, leading various compliance and transformation initiatives across the consumer, corporate banking, services and support functions. Most recently, Kim led Citi’s global regulations management standards team, responsible for regulatory inventory, change and mapping governance, standards, processes and technology. She has experience designing and implementing core compliance program activities that integrate compliance risks into firmwide risk and control routines such as policy management, credible challenge standards and consumer risk assessments. Earlier in her career at Citi, Kim held a variety of positions in anti-money laundering and the Compliance Project Management office.

Kim earned a BA in International Relations and German from the State University of New York in 2004.
