Kent David

Kent leads the Analytics Consulting Team at CoreLogic, responsible for providing insights into catastrophic risk insights and property analytics to the housing, financial services, municipal, utility, and insurance sectors. His work in the insurance linked securities sector dates to 2006.  This work has included the design and quantification of risk associated with innovative parametric, industry loss, indemnity, and hybrid trigger transactions.  His work in the field has included support for both sponsors and investors in both 144A catastrophe bonds and private transactions.  A licensed Civil Engineer in the state of California, Kent’s interest in catastrophe risk management was formed in post-earthquake survey, damage assessment, and client recovery efforts following the 1989 Loma Prieta, 1994 Northridge, and 1995 Kobe earthquakes.
