Senior Advisor to the Chairman, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
Kelsey Pristach is the Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. Pristach advises the chairman on matters regarding the Divisions of Trading and Markets and Examinations and serves as the designated deputy to the Financial Stability Oversight Council.
Prior to returning to the SEC, she was a senior advisor in the Senate covering financial services, crypto, and housing and at the Treasury Department on matters of financial stability. She previously worked in market risk management, integrating various business lines and products into institution-wide risk management and reporting at Goldman Sachs and USAA after beginning her career in the SEC’s Office of Risk Assessment. She graduated from Georgetown University and is a CFA charterholder.
