John Hague

Seasoned financial professional with over forty-five years of experience in the financial services industry. Presently serves as the chief financial officer for Hidden Road Inc, a global prime brokerage, clearing, and financing company focused on the foreign currency, derivatives, and digital asset classes.

Prior experience – recruited by RSM to build a Chicago financial services practice (audit, tax, and consulting).  Assumed a key national role driving the growth of the practice (frequent speaker and involvement in industry associations) and monitoring the risk management function (providing final technical reviews of all high-risk audit engagements).  Prior to RSM, served as the chief financial officer of Rodman & Renshaw, Inc., a publicly held securities broker-dealer, futures commission merchant and registered investment adviser.

Unique combination of public and private accounting experience.   Proven expertise in financial management and reporting, practical knowledge and application of financial accounting rules, AICPA and PCAOB audit standards, investment industry compliance regulations, internal control assessments, Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank and other SEC reporting requirements.
