John Fagg is the Co-head of Moore & Van Allen’s Litigation Team and Co-head of its White Collar, Regulatory Defense & Investigations Practice. For more than 20 years, John has represented companies and executives facing their most significant white collar criminal and regulatory enforcement matters.
John regularly represents clients in investigations and enforcement cases brought by the U.S. Department of Justice (Criminal Division, Antitrust Division, and Public Integrity Unit, as well as U.S. Attorney’s Offices throughout the country), the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and state attorneys general.
With a focus on financial services, John’s practice spans a wide variety of white collar matters, including matters related to securities fraud, commodities fraud, market manipulation, bank fraud, antitrust violations, public corruption, accounting fraud, and money laundering. John holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his J.D. from Wake Forest University.
