Jim McConekey

Jim is a partner in KPMG’s New York Financial Services audit practice with 30 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and auditing. During his career, Jim has served a variety of clients in the banking and capital markets industry including large global corporate and investment banking institutions, introducing and clearing broker-dealers, futures commission merchants, retail foreign exchange dealers, securities exchanges as well as regional and community banks. Jim is a former chair of the AICPA Stockbrokerage and Investment Banking Expert Panel and is also a member of KPMG’s SEC Review Partner program.

Jim received his MBA in Finance and BS in Accounting and is a member of the AICPA.  Jim is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
