Jennifer L. Klass is a partner in the Investment Management Practice Group resident in the New York office of Morgan Lewis. Jen is a skilled regulatory lawyer with expertise in investment adviser regulation and a focus on the convergence of advisory and brokerage services. She also specializes in the transformative effect of FinTech in financial services and the development of digital investment advisory platforms (robo advisers).
Jen counsels financial services firms on a wide range of matters, including investment adviser registration; fiduciary duty and conflicts of interest; disclosure, compliance procedures and internal controls; advertising and social media; separately managed account and wrap programs. She routinely advises clients on preparing for and managing SEC examinations and enforcement defense.
