Ian DeSacia

Mr. DeSacia is an Executive Director of DTCC’s Tax Services within DTCC’s Settlement and Asset Services group. Ian is responsible for leading DTC’s TaxRelief, U.S. Tax Withholding Services and DTC’s Tax Event Announcement solutions.  Ian has led initiatives to ensure DTCC is compliant with Sections 871(m), 305(c) and 302 of the IRC.  He has also led initiatives for providing solutions to the industry with 305(c) and 871(m).

Prior to joining DTCC’s Settlement and Asset Services group in 2007, Ian spent 4 years working in Financial Planning and Analysis and also worked in the Corporate Tax Department.  Ian holds a B.S. in Accounting from LeMoyne College and an M.B.A in Finance and Economics from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
