Greg McShea
Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Janney
Greg McShea is General Counsel and a member of Janney’s Executive Leadership Team.
He leads the firm’s legal, compliance, and risk management functions, providing counsel on regulatory and legal matters, managing risk, and supporting the firm’s business and strategic priorities.
Greg joined Janney as General Counsel in 2012 and has more than 25 years of financial services experience. Before joining Janney, he oversaw regulatory and compliance functions for M&T Bank and served as General Counsel for Legg Mason Capital Management and Western Asset Management Company.
Greg serves on the Executive Committee of the SIFMA Compliance & Legal Society.
Greg earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from West Virginia University and a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America.
