Gerard Novello

Gerard Novello is the Principal Operations Officer at Mirae Asset Securities (USA) Inc. and is part of the senior management team responsible for all business lines in the United States since joining Mirae in 2021. In his current role he is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the firm and interacting with vendors and regulatory counterparties. The teams reporting to Mr. Novello include Securities Lending operations, Fed/Repo Operations, Corporate Action, US and Domestic settlements, New Accounts, Purchase and Sales operations and ETF Middle office support.

Prior to joining Mirae Asset Mr. Novello was the Chief Operations Officer for 16 years at Intesa Sanpaolo IMI Securities Corp. He was responsible for all operations, middle office functions for all business lines of the firm. Mr. Novello was also at CIBC World Markets for 8 years as a Director in the Cashiers Department as well as the Correspondent Clearing support group.
