Delphine Amzallag is the Global Head of Prime at ABN Amro Clearing bank (AACB), a leading provider of integrated prime brokerage solutions in execution, clearing, custody, financing, and risk management across asset classes on global financial markets
Delphine joined ABN Amro Clearing in June 2015 as the European head of relationship management, and was promoted to Global Head of Prime in 2018. In this capacity, Delphine is responsible for the bank’s prime brokerage services offering globally. She leads various sales, relationship management, client service, and product teams covering hedge funds, asset managers, and financial institutions.
Her teams are responsible for sourcing, maintaining, and developing client business relationships for prime services with a specific focus on market neutral arbitrage strategies, relative value, equity long/short, commodity, volatility in equities, futures, options and IRS. She leads the push for new products and market initiatives to accommodate clients increasing demands.
Delphine successfully organises and chairs the annual flagship Amsterdam Investor forum, one of Europe’s principal gatherings for traditional and alternative asset managers and allocators, bringing together leading economists, senior hedge fund executives and financial services innovators to discuss the evolving market and industry.
Delphine is a member of the global sustainability board at AACB, with the aim of clearing the way to safe and transparent markets. She is also an active member of 100 women in finance and is an avid mentor and coach to young women professionals and helps recruit interns for the grad program.
Prior to her time at AACB, Delphine spent 10 years at Barclays Capital as a Director in Prime Services responsible for the relationship management and client service for alternative investment fund managers. She also worked at the hedge fund GSA Capital in London and lived in Paris while with Lyxor and Societe Generale.
Delphine holds a BA with honours in finance and financial services from the University of Westminster.
