Debbie Mercer-Miller

Debbie is a Client Executive for the Americas working with strategic clients domiciled in Europe to promote growth, provide solutions for complex matters and increase understanding of the local market.
Debbie is the immediate past Chair of the Association for Global Custodian (AGC), a coalition of 12 global custodian banks, advocating for a safe, efficient, and harmonized post-trade environment in the global capital markets in close collaboration with other Associations and industry partners. She has a stellar track record, proactively initiating initiatives to fundamentally improve the market infrastructure and mitigate risk.
Previously, she was Citi’s U. S. Securities Country Manager and Head of the U.S. Custody Product,, setting, managing, and executing the strategy for the business. Additionally, she was U.S. Custody Product Development Mgr, Global Custody Marketing Mgr, Client Executive in American Depository Receipts, Operations Project Manager for Treasury Services in Dublin Ireland overseeing the Euro conversion and a Global Risk Manager in New York,
She graduated with a B.S. in accounting and finance from The City University of New York and a MBA in executive mgt. from St. John’s University.
Debbie is a Board Member of New York State Midwifery Association and Women’s Diversity Network. She is the wife of a military veteran and mother of 3 children.
