
David Kabilian
David has been with State Street Bank & Trust since May 2000. David began his career at State Street as a Portfolio Administrator supporting institutional investors. He shifted over to a customer service role expanding to foreign markets to diversify his experience. Working with various markets and customers, he was able to build a division that created scale and efficiency through standardization of trade messaging. In 2015, David took on the 3rd Party Lending division and worked with various lending agents and Asset Owners who were executing in self-directed programs for lending. David’s experience allowed him to create a dedicated team centric to lending and become a front runner in the industry for daily support. In early 2019, David took over the Global Custody Settlement team. The Settlement team operates with 7 direct exchanges as well as over 100 sub custody markets. The team has expanded a global footprint to operate a 24/6 operating model. Having worked as a support for the clients front office and working the past 2 decades in various middle and back office roles, he continues to fine tune custody operations. He currently sits in various working committees such as SIFMA, SWIFT, and DTCC. He chairs the CSDR Fails Prevention committee and works directly with numerous asset owners to prepare for the Harmonization of the European Markets.
David has a Master of Business Administration from University of Massachusetts-Boston.
