Callumn Neito

Managing Director, Head of Investment Bank Operations Americas, UBS

Callum Nieto has over 20 years’ experience delivering strategic front to back change for the UBS Global Markets businesses across Europe, APAC and the Americas. He started his career as a Consultant in London designing data and bond trading platforms for UBS.

Callum moved to Hong Kong with UBS in 2005 and over the following 12 years worked in Technology and the COO team to establish and grow UBS’s Asian markets businesses from a front to back perspective. Key deliverables during this time included setting up our 1st Bond eTrading platform in Asia, growing our China Equities offshore client franchise through QFII and Stock Connect and rolling out SBL/Swap eTrading solutions to support client expansion across APAC.

Callum moved to New York in 2017 to become Global Markets COO for the Americas prior to transition to run IB Operations in the region in late 2022.
