Breon’s practice focuses on a range of high-stakes white-collar criminal and regulatory enforcement matters, government and internal investigations, and complex litigation for domestic and multinational corporations and business executives. He also advises management and boards on crisis management, corporate governance issues, and compliance programs.
From 2021-2025, Breon served as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, overseeing some of the most significant prosecutions involving national security, complex financial fraud, corruption, civil rights, violent crime and transnational criminal organizations. He also oversaw major cases in civil practice areas, including the False Claims Act, Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act, healthcare fraud, consumer protection, civil rights, and environmental justice. As U.S. Attorney, Breon served on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee (AGAC), where he was Chair of the AGAC White Collar Fraud Subcommittee, and served on the DOJ’s Disruptive Technology Strike Force and the Deputy Attorney General’s Corporate Crime Advisory Group.
