Bill Buck

Head of Operations and Technology, FHN Financial

With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Bill Buck leads operations and technology at FHN Financial, overseeing both the broker-dealer and a bank dealer operations. FHN Financial distributes fixed-income securities to more than 6,000 institutional clients across 16 U.S. offices.

Previously, Bill served as Director of Operations for Wells Fargo Institutional Brokerage and Sales in Minneapolis, where he managed operations, portfolio accounting, and the firm’s online customer reporting portal. He has also worked as a consultant, advising clients on system conversions, strategic planning, operational efficiency, and technology platform selection.

Earlier in his career, Bill held roles in capital markets and trust at KeyBank and McDonald Investments in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Akron.
