Benjamin Baltesar

Benjamin Baltesar has more than 8 years of experience in the reinsurance and ILS industry and has been with the team since January 2019, joining as a Senior Underwriter within the investment team. Prior to joining, Benjamin was an International Treaty Underwriter for Hiscox Re & ILS, based in Paris at first and then in London. He was writing Property Catastrophe, Property per Risk and Agriculture treaties. Benjamin is also a member of the Jury of the French Institute of Actuaries and a certified/qualified actuary. Prior to becoming an actuary, Benjamin studied Actuarial Sciences in France at Institut de Sciences Financières et d’Assurance (ISFA).
