Bassam Khattab leads Managed Services for KPMG US, supporting clients across the FS industry and other sectors to improve efficiency while delivering high quality outcomes. Bassam particularly focuses on helping institutions leverage Agentic AI and advanced technologies to facilitate the transition from traditional processes to intelligent-driven models, turning risk and compliance into a value-creating asset. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in front and back-office operations as well as in building systems to automate manual workflows related to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Client Onboarding, resulting in significant improvements in accuracy and compliance.
Bassam has almost 30 years of experience in the financial services sector as an auditor and consultant. His ability to leverage technology and innovation has made him a trusted advisor to many top tier financial institutions and a key driver in delivering transformative business outcomes. Bassam was admitted to the US Partnership in 2019, is a licensed CPA in state of New York, and holds an MBA in Accounting from St. John’s University.
