Ashley Elchert serves as Principal and Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Edward Jones. She is responsible for the firm’s strategic framework and approach for risk management to enable and protect the firm. Her work spans across multiple risk domains and business units of Edward Jones, driving a culture of proactive risk awareness throughout the organization. Prior to this, she was Head of First Line Risk for Wealth Management at Edward Jones.
She has nearly 20 years of experience in the Wealth and Investment Management industry. In addition to Edward Jones, Ashley was a Senior Vice President and held several roles at Wells Fargo, spanning across New Product Due Diligence, Governance, Product Risk, and Capital Markets & Trading.
Ashley earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and is both a CFA® and FRM® charter holder and holds her Series 7/63 licenses.
