Anthony Ross

Anthony Ross is a Director at BlackRock, where he serves as Head of the Digital Asset Operating Platform within the firm’s Technology & Operations division. In this role, Anthony is responsible for the design and execution of BlackRock’s post‑trade operating model for digital assets, partnering closely with Aladdin engineering and firm leadership to deliver scalable, resilient, and institutional‑grade infrastructure across crypto assets, tokenization, and emerging market structures. He leads the operational enablement of BlackRock’s digital asset products, with a focus on platform scalability, risk management, governance, and regulatory alignment. Anthony played a central role in the operational launch of BlackRock’s first crypto exchange‑traded products and has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s broader digital asset strategy, including initiatives spanning tokenized liquidity vehicles, on‑chain settlement infrastructure, and stablecoin integration. Previously, he served as Global Head of Derivative Payments, overseeing the end‑to‑end lifecycle for complex synthetic products and leading large‑scale operational transformation initiatives. Anthony has over 17 years of experience at BlackRock, holding progressively senior roles across trade operations, derivative operations, post trade transformation, and global payments.
