Andrew L. Kayiira Jr. is Head of Capital Markets Technology & Operations Strategy, at BMO Capital Markets. He is responsible for collaborating across Investment, Corporate Banking & Global Trading businesses to develop and deliver the firm’s CM T&O strategic agenda.

Andrew’s experience spans across several disciplines, in addition to technology & operations strategy, he has held leadership roles in client service, product & business development, industry governance, regulatory policy, operations management and the negotiation of commercial agreements.

Andrew is the of Eden Point Partners, an OTC derivatives advisory firm, focused on digital transformation. Prior to founding Eden Point, Andrew was the Director of Commercial Product Development at the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA), where he was responsible for the strategic alignment of commercial services and platforms, to enhance the value of ISDA’s IP offering to market participants.

He previously managed ISDA’s credit derivatives business and was part of the U.S. public policy team, during the post-financial crisis, working with market participants and regulators to implement rules relating to business conduct pre-trading requirements, trade execution on SEFs, mandatory clearing, and regulatory margin.

Andrew previously held leadership roles at several global investment banks. He worked for J.P. Morgan, responsible client relationship management strategy, focused on global markets’ services (pre/post execution). He also held management roles at Citigroup and Lehman Brothers, in their respective fixed income divisions.

Andrew graduated from Marist College obtaining a B.A. in English Literature.
