
Andrea Seidt
Ohio Securities Commissioner, Ohio Department of Commerce
Andrea Seidt is the Ohio Securities Commissioner with the Ohio Department of Commerce. Commissioner Seidt actively represents the Department and Ohio investors through her service with the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA). She has served as NASAA President and served in other leadership positions, including multiple stints on NASAA’s Board as well as Chair of NASAA’s Investment Adviser and Corporation Finance Section Committees. Commissioner Seidt works closely with her state and federal peers. She currently serves as the state representative on the SEC’s Investor Advisory Committee and previously served as the state representative on the SEC’s Small Business Advisory Committee. Prior to her appointment in 2008, Commissioner Seidt worked at the Jones Day law firm and also served as Deputy Chief Counsel for the Office of the Ohio Attorney General. Commissioner Seidt received both her undergraduate and law degrees from The Ohio State University.
